Packing with the Professor

And so it begins. Our last group meeting before our departure to England, and her Ladyship, Professor Benander, inspects our packing prowess. Although she was much more kind and gentle than the Lady Catherine, I still felt "obliged to undo all the work of the morning and pack my trunk afresh."

Can I really spend 4weeks in the UK with only 4 shirts to my name? Can I really get all my stuff in a bag smaller than the backpack I use for school? Those shrinky-dink bags of Professor Benander's looked amazing, kind of like those shrink-wrapped freezer bags As Seen On TV!!

Okay, I will start afresh, I will add a better raincoat (thanks, Prof.!) and a robe (thanks, Katie!) I will purge 6 shirts in favor of copies of the Bronte sisters, and I will consider purchasing my shampoo in England. More than that I cannot promise.
