If you can keep up you can really hear some great stuff! I was able to stay close enough for about an hour and heard some Emily Dickinson...
I never saw a moor
I never saw the sea
and yet I know how the heather looks
and what a wave must be
...and a little Blake as we gazed down into the valley at the mill buildings...
And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green?
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
And did the Countenance Divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among these dark Satanic Mills?
Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear! O clouds, unfold!
Bring me my charriot of fire!
I will not cease from mental fight,
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England's green and pleasant land.
and then I lost her. I could not keep up with Action Grrl
sigh
Yes, Ruth is a challenging pace setter for anyone! I empathize! Love the poetry and the photos!
